Will Lebron James Rookie Cards Go Down In Value
48LeBron James Rookie Cards
Will LeBron James rookie cards remain big sellers now that he's on the Miami Heat
Since he came into the NBA in 2003, LeBron James rookie cards have been huge sellers for basketball card collectors. Up until now,
we have associated LeBron with the Cleveland Cavaliers. But as we all know, LeBron James has left his home town team and has headed to south beach to play for the Miami Heat with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh.
The question that some basketball card collectors are asking is "How will this affect the value of LeBron James rookie cards?"
Well, that is an interesting question. LeBron was the main guy when he played for the Cavs, but now that he is on the Heat he will
have to share the wealth, so to speak. I mean, there is only one ball to go around between James, Wade and Bosh. And all three of these
guys are NBA super stars who demand the basketball.
In my opinion, LeBron James going to the Miami Heat will not effect the value of his rookie at all. Yeah, I'm sure LeBron's scoring
numbers may go down a bit, but if he and Wade can go on to win an NBA championship, I believe that his rookie cards could go up
even more than they are now. But that will be easier said than done. Remember, Kobe and the Lakers will have something to say about
it. Plus, the Celtics and Magic will be battling the Heat all the way in the NBA east.
But, there is no need to panic and start unloading your LeBron James collection. His rookie cards will and remain hot and still sell
very well.
And this can also help the rookie cards of Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh as they will now get a ton of exposure and TV time. Remember, Bosh has been buried in Toronto since he came in to the NBA back in 2003. So this "Super Team" of James, Wade and Bosh could do very well in the long run for basketball card collectors everywhere.
